Pros: Tough, Affordable, Extensive distance perception, Great in all conditions, and 25 year warranty
Cons: Heavy, and awkward to carry.
The Bottom Line:
Great binoculars, for all types of seasonal use, and very durable for those who actually USE their equipment in the field.
I bought the binoculars for primarily for the hunts I attend; Every hunt I have been on I would not have seen the deer, or elk, or whatever game I am hunting without the help of these wonderful binoculars. This fall, I was on the archery hunt, beautiful time of year, deer are just starting to loose their bright red coat, and starting to get their winter-gray coat. It becomes harder to see them as soon as they start to loose the attractive summer coat. I would have not seen or knew the game was there, if not for these Nikon Action Ex Extreme (10x50) Binoculars.
The game would have busted me, if not for these Nikon Action Ex Extreme (10x50) Binoculars, I would not have had the chance to shoot the beautiful three point that I did. He was strong and beautiful, excellent jerky he made; tastiest venison I ever ate.
Durable
I have had the same binoculars for the past five years, they are amazing still, I have tried many different brands and types of binoculars. Im not gentle to my binoculars, they take much abuse; anywhere from weather conditions, I did leave them in my black pick-up truck in sweltering hot weather, I have accidentally dropped them in freezing snow, and on hard dirt or rocks. Through the many trials they have been put through they are reliable, havent had to replace anything, no repairs. Through everything they are still have great picture and if I did break my handy binoculars, there is also a twenty-five year warranty.
Affordable
These Nikon Action Ex Extreme (10x50) Binoculars are affordable, and well worth the price. You can always be tricked into thinking that the higher cost the better and more durable equipment you will get, obviously not true. You dont have to spend a small fortune to get a great set of binoculars, and this review is a testament to that fact. Consumers are always looking for the bigger, better deal for a low price, right? I believe that the Nikon Action Ex Extreme (10x50) Binoculars is the best for the price.
Sharp Image (Adjusting picture sharpness feature), and Extensive distance perception
These have a feature that you can adjust the picture sharpness, meaning that you dont have to be unsure of what you are looking at, that really is a four-point buck in the clearing. I found that the Nikon Action Ex Extreme (10x50) Binoculars 342 feet wide at 1,000 yards. More than enough distance needed when you are out on the hunt.
