The Nextar P3 GPS mobile navigation system assures that your days of getting lost are over. Finding an address or any one of 1.6 million points of interest, such as the nearest gas station or restaurant, is a snap anywhere in the U.S. Just enter information in the P3's 3.5 inch touch screen and let the voice prompt and detailed map guide you to the destination. The P3's built in MP3 player will entertain you with your favorite tunes while en route. Just copy your favorite play list onto an SD card and insert into the slot. The P3 moves easily from car to car using the supplied windshield or dash mount. A rechargeable lithium ion battery assures that the unit stays active. The Nextar P3 will provide you with worry free navigation on even the most complex routes! Cons: takes apx 2 minutes to find signal - It doesn't have street-to-text - so what!

buy one - super easy to use, you won't get lost, very easy to use windshield suction cup mounting

Pros: Inexpensive, easy-use, Map & 1.6M POIs on 1GB SDcard, sturdy, portable, also charges via USB
Cons: US Map only, upgrade support questionable, no text-to-speech
Bottom Line:
Excellent GPS for the price. Not top of the line, but an affordable and easy to use entry-level model. Seems sturdy and dependable. Hopefully map updates will be forthcoming.

Pros: Easy to install, easy to put in addresses, simple to follow.
Cons: The screen is a little on the small side.
Bottom Line:
For navigation purposes, this is the easiest to use. The screen is excellent. As of yet, we have not tried using the MP3 player.

Make sure that you test it right away and if it doesn't work take it back to the store. Don't wait months to test it like me :(
