Windows XP users beware

Author's Rating: Rating: 2/5 stars

Pros: Inexpensive, easy to install and update

Cons: If you use "switch user" under Windows XP, this product will not run. Poor support.

Bottom Line:
If you are a Windows XP user, pick another product. Other Windows versions' users will probably enjoy it. If customer service is your hot-button, keep looking. Read More at Epinions.com

Manipulation?

Author's Rating: Rating: 2/5 stars

Cons: Impersonal customer service and unfair rebate terms.

Bottom Line:
Unfortunately, with just a couple options on the market for virus products, I guess McAfee doesn't have to care about their customer focus as much as they care about revenue. Read More at Epinions.com

Almost an Amateur Level Software Product

Author's Rating: Rating: 2/5 stars

Pros: Nice interface. Easy to use. Firewall included in product at no extra charge.

Cons: Product uninstall and registry problems. Licensing errors and issues. Customer support almost non-existent.

Bottom Line:
Quirky - amateurish. May work for a while, but eventually will cause problems when virus definitions need to be extended or a new version of the product is installed. Read More at Epinions.com
