Pros: Even backlighting, no distortion of picture, easy color profiling with printer.
Cons: Complex menu OSD, analog input severely degrades quality.
I've had the F-419 for about a year now, and am completely impressed with it. Price at purchase was $199 cdn (display model.. it actually has a small scratch on the screen from that, but it's pretty much invisible most of the time)
I use Photoshop a lot, and color profiling the monitor with my Konica laserprinter was very easy.... I now print exactly what I see, not always an easy tune-up for LCD monitors.
Video displays very well with a G-Force 6600, gaming (although I don't play a lot of games)has been a pleasure. Setup was simple, the dual inputs are handy as well, although the digital input does provide a distinctly better product.
I've had no dead or bright pixels, and the monitor is a breeze to mount in a multi-unit display environment.
It's used in tandem with a high-end NEC crt monitor, for web design comparisons, and I'm sad to say my old NEC is getting very little use these days, as it just can't keep up.
So far I've had zero problems with the monitor.
