My daughter is accident prone. Usually it is just minor scrapes and bruises. However on one of our recent nicer days of weather my daughter was out riding her bike. Well she lost control and ran into the tire of a parked truck and went over her handlebars and over the hood of a car. Thankfully the injuries inflicted were not as bad as the actual accident was. However I knew that our regular go to of antiseptic wash would not be enough for the injuries my daughter received. I thankfully recently I purchased Neosporin plus pain relief for when the antiseptic wash was just not enough.

Neosporin Plush Pain Relief can be found in the same isle as the other wound care items. Neosporin plus pain relief comes in a 1/2 oz. tube and is maximum strength protection plus pain relief. This antibiotic cream costs anywhere from $3.50-$5 depending on where you purchase it.

The antibiotic cream is white and very creamy. It you do not have to use a whole lot of it since it spreads easily onto the wound area. All that you need to do is clean the wound area then use a small amount of the cream to cover the wound area. Then cover the area with a sterile bandage.

My daughter had scraped her knee pretty bad in a couple of spots and scraped up her elbow pretty bad as well. After the first use of this Neosporin with Pain Relief she said that it did not hurt quite as bad,but still hurt. I changed her bandages and put on fresh neosporin with pain relief after a couple of hours. After the second covering of Neosporin with Pain Relief my daughter said her knee and elbow felt a lot better. They were no longer stinging so bad and it did not hurt to bend either one like it had before. I only used this for a couple of days before a scab covered the area.

Within a weeks time my daughters knee and elbow were both looking great and she only had a small pink mark left behind from where she got hurt that will fade away to nothing before long I am sure. My daughter never complained about the pain from the wounds she received after the second application of Neosporin plus pain relief. You can barely tell that she was ever hurt at all and thanks to the antibiotic cream we never had to worry about her wounds getting infected. I will be sure to keep this around for when antiseptic wash alone is just not enough to do the job of keeping the wound free of infection.
