Pros: Cheap cost for replacement purposes, fits easily into pants pocket, good 'head' protection

Cons: no shaft protection

The Bottom Line: 
I would recommend this type of putter cover for everybody seeking good protection for a putter at a reasonable price.

This is a good Putter cover. I have two mallet/alignment putters the Odyssey and Monza (in addition to a wealth of blades) and I always buy these covers for my putters. It protects well, and had never fallen off, crushes well when I put it in my pocket for putting so I can take it off when I reach the green and put it back on when after I sink the putt (finish up there if I'm holding up the group behind me). Lastly, at a ten spot if you lose it, it isn't a great loss because you can get another. (Ever price the cost of trying to replace a Scotty Cameron putter cover.) The one with the American Flag which I use on all my putters (they make a Blade version also) is $15. The original Odyssey putter cover is more like an elongated sock and although the original Monza putter has one of the most innovative magnetic designs for a putter cover in the world it would break my heart to lose it and either of these would be more expensive than the Neoprene to replace.

Only complaint: the advantage of the Odyssey putter cover is its ability to protect part of the shaft, which this and no mallet type putter cover of this type has the ability to do. A putter can be pretty bruised knocking against those scuffed irons in a bag after all those years and I keep all my putters in the bedroom with me to practice so I like to keep them as pretty as possible.
