Nascar Racing 4 Computer Game
Though I am not really a fan of NASCAR, I bought this game because I was looking for a good realistic racing sim to play online. The game has amazing graphics, it almost is as good a watching a race on TV, and the sound really adds to it, it sounds exactly like it does on the TV. When you crash is so cool, because its never the same, though the car does flip to easy. You can watch your amazing crash, or pass on Nascar 4's great replay system. I was extremely satisfied with this game once I got rolling. The game comes with all the NASCAR tracks from the 2000 season and many real and fantasy cars to choose from, though you can make your own custom car or download the many available of the Internet. I personal favorite is the Honda Touring Car I made, the game offers many modes of play, you can race a single race, complete a nascar season, go out on the track and run by yourself, or play online. Another great thing about this game is that it offers a wide array of playing levels you can make the computer racers anywhere from super slow to lightning fast. You can also change the car and set it up anyway that you want, perfect for the family gear head, for those of use who are not so mechanically knowledgeable there are some setups that come with the game and there are also some available on the Internet.
That brings us to the games next strong point the multiplayer. This is really the reason that I bought the game. Papyrus offers a server and there are many other on the net where you can go race others in all sorts of modes across the nets, though I have never competed in one there are also a ton of nascar leagues on the Internet to fill your desire to be just like Jeff Gordon, race online is extremely fun and in my opinion is the best aspect of the game.
The only down fall for this game that I can think of is that is requires a fairly big system to run nice and you need a gamepad at least, preferably a steering wheel to really enjoy this game to the fullest.
If you are a nascar fan, a gearhead, or just a racing sim fan check this game out, it well worth it...
