Excellent and healthy reading

Pros: Great magazine, great contents

I have been weight lifting since I was in college, which is about 14 years. No, I am not a dedicated or professional bodybuilder, but I did have my moments. I enjoy weight lifting for various reasons, but most of all, I love it because it is a stress reliever. I see people lift correctly and incorrectly all the time, and sometimes, I like to assist, but my main concern is that you should educate yourself in anything that you like to do, especially something like that.

For example, a person would not start diving without proper instructions, because it would be dangerous. Well, that is the way I look at weight lifting. I have seen people eat wrong, lift wrong, stretch wrong, and they do get hurt in the long run. Anyone who enters a gym and attempts to lift weights, do aerobics or just use the machines, should get some kind of instructions on how to do it right. There is always someone in the gym to help you, but if you are doing something, you should try to educate yourself as well. That is just my opinion.

Muscle and Fitness is a great magazine. They have a lot of articles on weight lifting, nutrition, aerobics, proper methods for exercising or loosing weight, different vitamin explanations and a lot more. The magazine even explains how to rest, what to avoid in the pass time and which activities, even every day ones or more physical then others, and in what way. The magazine is very easy to read and it has lots of pictures and examples. It is not a typical bodybuilding buff magazine and is targeted towards men and women. It is the only magazine out there that both me and my wife prefer to read together. Sure there are others, like Flex, Muscular, Shape and many more, but they are either for Muscle Buffs, men or women specifically. Some of the above mentioned magazines, speak only about bodybuilding, contests and other items, which don't apply to general public. Muscle and Fitness will appeal to anyone.

Muscle and Fitness is the only magazine that I referred to a lot of people, who were interested to stay in shape or just, get into the proper diet. None of the people that I talked to have ever complained, that the magazine does not appeal to them. I absolutely love it and highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in physical fitness or healthy reading.

If you subscribe to it, it will be a lot cheaper then buying over the counter. I subscribe for two years at a time.
