Great Product , Great Value

Pros: Inexpensive, makes great coffee.
Cons: Carafe drips when pouring, hot plate peels after a few years, drips during "pause/&/serve".
The Bottom Line:
I recommend this coffee maker because it makes great coffee and the company gives good customer support.
Note: Bottom of unit says, "Sunbeam Products", Model TFX20 (although the front of the unit says "Mr. Coffee").
Works great, very inexpensive. Hot plate started peeling after 2 years but I called the company and they sent me an entire new coffee maker at no charge to me!! Couldn't believe such great customer service for a $24.99 coffeemaker. I was impressed. Kept the old carafe in case the new one broke. New one has started peeling after about the same time (2 years?). But so inexpensive I think it's still a great value.
Major functions I use:
Delay Brew - used a few times. Works fine. I usually just make it in the morning as it doesn't really take too long to brew.
Pause & Serve - this is accomplished by a little sping-loaded plug in the filter basket that is kept pushed up when the pot is under it and falls down to plug up the filter basket so that no more coffee drips when you remove the carafe to pour a cup before the brewing is done. Doesn't work that well - always a few drips. This might be the reason my hot plate started peeling after about 2 years (see below).
Water Level & cups indicator - I've read some other reviews saying the level is actually measured in 1/2 cups versus full cups. I think the industry (if you read the coffee package) standard is that a "cup" of coffee is actually 6 ounces rather than 8 so it doesn't agree with a measuring cup. But I fill my reservoir with the carafe the two (reservoir and carafe levels) seem to agree.
Cleaning - I've had it so long that I don't know what the instructions were to clean. I use a dilute vinegar solution but I also have to scrub out the reservoir, filter basket area and under the filter basket. They all can get pretty rank if you don't do it every month or so. I put the carafe, lid, and filter basket in the dishwasher also.
Don't know what else to say since this is a pretty simple coffee maker.
