The Konica Minolta Dimage G600 camera takes true 6.0 Mega Pixel pictures. You can adjust the resolution to the following sizes: 640 X 480, 1800 X 1200, 2272 X 1704, and 2816 X 2112. This feature allows you to take smaller resolution shots that can be emailed faster or posted to sites like EBAY and yet still have a great camera to take shots of your friends and family.
You can shoot a short movie clip on this camera. The Dimage G600 also allows you to adjust the shutter speed. Manual Exposure is also available on this camera. From the Menu you can adjust White Balance for shooting under florescent lighting, control how light is measured through the AE metering option. The Dimage also allows you to turn your pictures into black and white images and to use Sepia to create warm-tone monochrome images. There is also an option to add thirty seconds of audio to still images.
The Dimage G600 is small enough to toss in your purse or brief case and carry it with you. However, if you plan on doing this it is recommended that you purchase the leather carrying cover to protect the camera.
The Dimage G600 is a versatile camera that with an 8 to 24mm lens that is equivalent to a 39 to 117mm on a 35 mm camera. The optics are excellent, allowing for sharp pictures.
The Konica Minolta Dimage G600 is an excellent camera that I would recommend to anyone.
