What a joke these Midlands are!

Pros: They look nice, the clip is functional.
Cons: Range is pathetic.
First I purchased a set of the blue, G-227 models and one of them was defective, would not receive.
Next I purchased a set of the silver G-300 with the advertised 10 mile range. Like another person who reviews these products, I had another person drive up the road to test the range, he reached less then a half mile before it the communication turned to static.
