Windows 98, Still Competing? Keep Reading.

Author's Rating: Rating: 1/5 stars

Pros: not that good for gamers. Supports almost every piece of hardware.

Cons: Unstable at times, can be quirky with some programs.

The Bottom Line:
By XP. If you must buy this it should be for an office only. that way you won't have any issues like my friend did. So there i said it.

Windows 98. Makes me feel fuzzy all over, like the good old days of crashing, reinstalling, pain and suffering and most of all hardware issues. Oh, you mean good things about it? Well, if you must i will tell you without lying, "THIS IS A GOOD OS FOR OFFICE WORK." Nothing else. Plain and simple. Especially considering that it is dirt cheap, this OS is the ONLY os you should buy for an office. if you really surf around i found it for as little as $50. And i live in Canada. Like i said, cheap. Although being cheap isn't always good. When my friend bought a hot off the fab, Intel Pentium 4 3.2Ghz Processor and motherboard he had issues with 98. it wouldn't recognize his hyperthreading technology. PLUS his GeForce FX 5900 Ultra didn't work that great either. oh well.
