Condemned Criminal Origins Computer Game
I recently picked this game up off the bargain bin at my local game store wondering if it would be worth it. After spending some time with this game at home alone in the dark with he sound completely cranked up I found myself wondering why this game received such negative scores by the media. This game is brilliant I was thinking to myself, especially for a Xbox360 launch title. The story narrative part of this game is bang on and gut wrenching enough to keep your heart pounding after the story unravels in a bloody mess of twisting and turning through narrow corridors that are lurking with all sorts of ghoulish baddies. You play a character known as Eathen Thomas who is a CSI type policeman who is helping solve the case involving mysterious murders in NYC. While this is a great story line the game play is where the game begins to break down a little. Guns in this game are scarce to say the least and when they are found you should horde them for the tougher fights as most of the regular baddies can be bludgeoned easily with some debris from the ground. The mechanics of the fist fighting hear are very fidgety and often leave you open because as far as I'm aware there is no real block button. This is my only complaint about the game play however other than the surroundings can at times seem a little static and repetitive. The graphics however are great maybe not the best w have ever seen but they are by no means bad and leave your eyes cringing every time you see someone bleed. I must stress this is a VERY VIOLENT and GRAPHIC game that no child under the age of 16 should be allowed to get there hands on. But all in all I really found this to be an enjoyable and solid game experience that was well worth the 15 dollar price point.

The Bottom Line:
If you can find this for 15 dollars or less buy it, you wont regret it.
