An exterior facelift and interior trim changes highlight 2004 for Mazdas minivan. MPV is among the smallest minivans and comes in one body length. It uses a 200-hp V6 engine and 5-speed automatic transmission. ABS is standard. The LX has 16-inch alloy wheels, the top-shelf ES 17s. Front side airbags and traction control are optional on LX, standard on ES. MPVs seat seven. The 2nd-row bucket seats slide together to create a 2-passenger bench. The 3-passenger 3rd-row bench folds into the floor. Dual sliding side doors are standard and have roll-down power windows. Power-operated side doors are optional. Revised front and rear styling changes MPVs look for 04. Interior trim revisions are accompanied by a new steering wheel, bright gauge surrounds, and a spring assist designed to ease the 3rd-rows fold-into-the-floor function. Minimize

Before we got this van we had a 1995 Mazda MPV 3-door. We loved that van. But in 2007 it started to give problems. So 2008, we were on the market for a new minivan. The 2004 Mazda MPV Lx caught our eye. Very aggressive styling and the Mazda handling(handles like the Rx&!! lol). We got the van a year and a half ago and its amazing. 200hp 3.0L V6 is powerful. The interior is nice too. We bought a 1990 Mazda Rx7 Convertible a couple months ago and there was only one way to get it home since it wasn't working...Towing it! Our MPV had the Towing Package so we just borrowed our friend's flat bed trailer, loaded the Rex on, and towed it 45 miles home. While towing home, it was just me and my dad so we keep the weight down. It's rated at 3,000lbs max but we had enough power that we forgot the car was even behind us! I wish it was a bit bigger and more powerful though. We've put thousands of miles on it already and it's still going!
