Great HD for the Money

Pros: Fast, Quiet, Looks Cool!
Cons: None so far, wish it had an 8mb cache instead of 2mb

Great harddrive, I would've paid full price even if the rebates weren't being offered, its that good!
I picked up this hard drive from best buy for $40 after mail in rebates. It was replacing my old maxtor 30gig with 512kb cache. Upon opening the box I was impressed by the look of the harddrive, it was about 1/2 inch thinner than my old one and was chrome colored on the top surface, very flashy for my case which has a window! Installation and data transfer was as easy as it said in the directions with no problems arising. Great software. I can't even hear the harddrive over my case fans. I recommend this to anyone who wants to replace an older HD without spending too much money. The speed and quietness will reassure you that you made the right decision.
