The Mason Pearson Child's Sensitive Boar Bristle Hair Brush (CB4) is a smaller "child's" size brush with 5 rings of boar tufts. The brush is 6 3/4 inches long (head length is 3 1/2 inches) and 2 inches wide. The size is the next size down from the handy size brush and is the smallest of the handled brushes. In addition to being designed for children ages 3-7 years, this brush is recommended for adults with very fine hair to thin hair and with very short to medium length hair. Note on Sensitive versus Child Brush: The bristles on the child brush are not spired - that is, they are all the same length. The bristles on the adult brushes, including the sensitive, are spired and have more of a "grabbing" effectiveness. The spired bristles will be more effective for an adult and the unspired bristles are appropriate for a child?s hair structure which is much more fragile. Colors: Blue, Ivory (white) and Pink.
