Serve up restaurant quality frozen drinks at your next party with the Margaritaville Key West Frozen Concoction Maker. It automatically shaves ice and then blends it with your choice of ingredients for consistent results every time. Simply fill the ice reservoir with ice, add your ingredients to the blending jar and select the appropriate setting. Pre-programmed automatic settings take the guesswork out of making the perfect margarita and other frozen drinks. Or use the manual controls to create custom concoctions.

Margaritaville Frozen Concoction DM1000
Welcome to Margaritaville! My wife gave me this product for Christmas and I though "what did you buy?" That skepticism ended when I used it for the 1st party... my neighbors have been talking about it every since (and at least 3 bought one for themselves)...this unit is awesome... This product is the best appliance innovation in years. No more chasing your ice around a blender jar... no more messy clean-up, no more babysitting the blender at the party... guest enjoy watching this machine as much as they like drinking from it. I take it to all my parties and it is always the topic of conversation.
Simply put the ice in the top reservoir. Put you liquid in the bottom (mix, booze, fruit, etc...). Select the number of drinks (always 3.. why do less?) and hit start. The unit automatically shave ice from the top reservoir into the blender jar... once the pre-programmed amount of ice has been shaved, the blender runs for ten seconds of so, and voila! A perfect frozen drink. The ice is shaved to a snow cone consistency so it is impossible to get a drink with ice chunks in it.
There are two different motors which run the shaver and blender so this is one powerful machine! Any ice left in the reservoir after the party.. no problem.. it melt into a separate drip container in the rear of the unit that can be emptied later.
The unit also has a manual function so you can shave ice or blender at your discretion. This allows me to make snow cones for the kids. I also put lemonade and run the unit to make frozen drinks for the kids.
A++ for Jimmy on this one.. he hit the nail on the head!
The only improvements to this product I would like to see is a larger ice reservoir on top so it would last longer during the party. We have to refill the ice every 3 batches.
The only con... price. The unit retails for $299.99 at higher-end retailers.

Pros: Perfect drinks, easy to clean, automatic functionality
Cons: A bit pricey at $299.99 but well worth it if you can afford it.
The Bottom Line:
If you every have friends over for drinks or if you love parties, this is a must have. I invite people more often because I have this unit!
