If your vision allows you to have a black and white unit and a smallish screen, this bundle is certainly good value and performance driven
I have tried several different GPS models and this one certainly has the best feature set for the money.
Magellan makes a full line of GPS products and each provides something different. I have not tried other manufacturers' products as I quickly became accustomed to the Magellan software interface.
Overall, it is easy to setup and once mastered, very simple to operate.
I purchased the Gold SE package which included the SD card and Mapping Software (Canada).
I am not sure that I will ever use these features but they seem very capable.
I was very impressed at the accuracy of the built-in mapping and the precision of the positioning.
We have used it for biking, hiking and cross-country skiing and we welcomed its features every time.
It seems that Magellan is one of the leaders and we hope to use it more and more.
