Good but not perfect

Author's Rating: Rating: 4/5 stars

Pros: Mostly accurate, easy to use, and easy to read.

Cons: Few glitches with voice navigation prompts. Additional charge for using larger CF cards for maps.

Bottom Line:
Solid unit for the directionally challenged. Few glitches are occassionally annoying. Fifty dollar fee for additional CF cards is ridiculous. Read More at Epinions.com

Where are the reviews?

Author's Rating: Rating: 4/5 stars

Pros: Very accurate and easy to use.

Cons: It shouldn't cost $50 to 'authorize' a CF card!

Bottom Line:
I do recommend this unit because of its price and accuracy. Make sure you get all the CF you can for your first 'authorization'. Read More at Epinions.com

Magellan 500 GPS Missing the Trajectory

Author's Rating: Rating: 1/5 stars

Pros: Interface is nice and the unit is light and compact.

Cons: Very incompatible with my PC (Windows XP Pro) and downloading maps is a chore.

Bottom Line:
Don't bother with Magellan, stick with Garmin and spend the extra $$. The Triton is not worth the headache. Read More at Epinions.com
