Good game takes advantage of the 360

Pros: Good Graphics and Gameplay
Cons: None of the fun side games and storylines that made it fun on the ps2/xb/gc
The Bottom Line:
If you dont mind the mini games and other game modes being absent this yea go for it. The graphics are great.
If you just got the Xbox 360 and are thinking that this game is going to be the same as the ps2/xbox/gc version, but with better graphics (like I did) then you're wrong. The game is completely different, but the graphics are stellar.
What they took out:
The game is only for 2 players, not 4.
No mini-camp: in the franchise mode, for fun, and online.
No tournaments.
No challegening plays.
No john madden announcing.
No fantasy draft for franchise teams.
No superstar mode (no body probably cares about this one).
Here is what is just different:
The playcalling. It allows your friend to see what play you're doing (it's like NFL Street 2, if you've ever played it.)
How you kick.
To run fast it's the right trigger instead of A/X (depending on the system) this can be changed though.
Other gameplay controls, but they can be changed.
The camera angle is different and CANNOT be changed.
The spins, jukes, and truck sticks are less effective (You can still run the ball well, though.)
Calling hot routes, and adjusting your defense.
Playing the game is just different (hard to explain). You feel like it's a completely different game when playing.
I may have missed some stuff, the those are the big ones. The game is not bad, don't get me wrong, but besides the graphics, I liked the ps2/xbox/gc version better. The new one IS starting to grow on me, though. All I can say is, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." The ps2/xbox/gc was the BEST Madden ever, and they shouldn't have changed it, but what's done is done. I don't know if you can rent X360 games yet, but you probably should before spending $60 on this game.
