Pros: sturdy, inexpensive, easy to use
Cons: Blur possible at slow shutter speeds. Some find the viewfinder takes getting used to.
The Bottom Line:
You won't leave home without it. I like it so much I've started a yahoogroup for it.
It's a 1.3 megapixel snapshot camera that sells for as little as $100. If you to do 4x6 prints, email photos or put them up on the web, it does a fine job. To use it, you slide the cover open, point, shoot, and close. All that can take as little as 5 seconds. It's got a flash, a seemingly endless battery and slides shut for almost complete self-containment.
This is the first camera I've ever felt comfortable throwing in my pocket without a case. It's got a really solid build. It's the size of a credit card and the thickness of a cigarette lighter. And it will last: It has a 2-year guarantee. The built in memory holds 44 images at hi-res or 158 at email quality. Because of the small size and sturdiness, you'll find you take this camera with you a lot more than any other you've ever owned. You'll miss a lot less shots, since it fires up so quickly and requires no messing with controls.
Downloading images is VERY easy. Software comes with it for PC. For Mac, no drivers are required. Plug it in, iPhoto pops up and you click to download. Image quality for 1.3 megapixels is competent.
