Works but is not stable

Pros: Works fine for the average user. Cheap.
Cons: Doesn't work well with file sharing programs.
I have been using the BEFCMU10 Version 2 for about 3 years now. It has worked good and was pretty cheap, but I have had one major problem with the modem:
When network traffic gets heavy over a large number of ports, this cable modem will crash and require a reboot (uplug and plug). Software that creates a lot of traffic and port usage are Gnutella and BitTorrent clients. So if you like to fileshare/trade then this isn't the cable modem for you.
Perhaps they have fixed this issue in the newer modems, but I've had it. I can't even use BitTorrent and I really would like to get audience recordings of my favorite bands. Time for a new modem.
