Good, but can be problematic

Pros: Fast, Resets Quickly, Responsive, High Compadibility
Cons: Unstable, Puts out static on channel 3 when in use
The Bottom Line:
I wouldn't recommend a linksys product again because of the host of problems I've had over a large group of their products.
I had purchased the modem after recently moving to another house. This was the second time I have had cable internet, both times it was from the same company, Comcast (previously Excite, previously At&t, previously @home).
The cable modem is hooked into a linksys wireless G access router. The cable modem worked great for a while then some problems started to set in. The internet would randomly cut out and static would show up on channel 3 when someone was on the internet. At first we thought it was the router and installed the routers settings and reset both the cable modem and the router. Turns out it was the modem. Now, every time the internet cuts out we just reset the modem by unplugging it and plugging it back in.
Now the modem works fine otherwise, its fast, its strong, but the stability issue is its weak point. The setup was easy for the modem, but the router took a long time to configure.
I contacted linksys about the problem and they told me that it had to do with my wiring. The problem is that when I place a cable filter on the modem the internet cuts out. Ohh well, my next modem will be a netgear.
