Front side airbags, ABS, and traction control are standard. An antiskid system is optional. Optional head-protecting curtain side airbags were added midyear. Also optional for the first time are heated rear seats, navigation system, and xenon headlights. Power-adjustable pedals and one-touch power front windows are newly standard. Heated and cooled front seats are standard on all but the base V6 model. Lincoln says noise levels are reduced with more-effective sound insulation. Styling changes include revisions to nose, tail, and wheels. The cabin gets some bright trim. Minimize

This LS is the Bomb!

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Great Navigation system and stereo. Nice heated/cooled seats. Nice powerful 280 HP V8.

Cons: They wouldn't give it to me for free.

The Bottom Line:
This is a Domestic luxury car that gives you the Import feel you want without the Import price.

My 2003 LS Premium Sport is a great car. This car is loaded with options . The THX Audio ( Lucas Films technology) and Navigation system sounds and works great and is voice activated which makes it easy to use. The memory adjustable pedals, seat and steering wheel prove useful for when there are two drivers. Heated/cooled seats make the cabin more comfortable. It's more powerful V8 (280 HP vs 252 HP) means you'll have no trouble entering on or passing slower cars on the freeway. No yelling in this car because the cabin is very quiet. The ride is softer but the handling has not been compromised. I can fit my family of five in the car quite comfortably. The Advancetrac (stability control) has been improved so that it's less intrusive than the prior models. I test drove a Beamer 540i, a Lexus ES 300 and an Audi A-6 before making this decision and the LS out handled and out powered them all. If you want a nice car with features that cost thousands more on imports, this is the car for you!
