The Navigator has refined its content for the year 2000 and is available either as a 2WD or 4WD. Interior changes include Universal Garage Door Opener (now standard), automatic parking brake release, improved cellular phone presenter and upgraded map pockets. Adjustable foot pedals allow drivers of differing heights to remain a safe distance from the steering wheel airbag. Some selected options are auxiliary climate control, 6-disc CD changer, power moonroof, hands-free portable cellular phone and reverse sensing system. Late availability options are a navigation system with 5-inch color display and CD ROM, power fold away-side view mirrors, heated front seats, climate controlled front seats and seat mounted side airbags.
