The Lexus RX 400h is the first luxury sport utility vehicle equipped with a hybrid powertrain. It features a version of parent company Toyotas Hybrid Synergy Drive technology thats been modified for SUV duty. Changes include the installation of a new battery, the 3.3-liter V-6 from the RX 330 and a more powerful electric motor that can operate at 12,000 rpm thats twice the top speed of the motor used in the Toyota Prius hybrid.

Pros: Great service, comfortable seating , safety (except high rollover risk), Rear camera,smooth ride.
Cons: Expensive maintenance and TERRIBLE NAVIGATION. Don't invest in this navigation.
The Bottom Line:
I would buy this car if I was in the market. I and intend to keep it while using other companies for oil changes & tune ups.
I have this car and overall I really do love it. It has some drastic pluses and minuses. I will tell you what I think and you decide from there. Below you will find the pros and cons of this car. Overall, I think this car is a great buy but as always when buying a car you must weigh some factors and must decide which are the most important to you. Among them are reliability, comfort-ability, safety, extras, price and maintenance.
Please note: Most SUV s have a high rollover risk
This car's best features are automatic windshield and lighting cleaning, great cup holders, safety features, comfort-ability, automatic lights, great interior lighting, and over all is sure to please.
Unfortunately, it is costly on maintenance so you may want to take a package for that if available before-hand, terrible navigation which was a waste of money, (I only use it when I'm stuck in an area I don't know and just press a button and say "gas station " because if you actually use it you will drive in circles. Its really inconvenient when you depend on it to get to important events such as family weddings or important meetings- please save yourself the disappointment in those key features.
