Reliability and Luxury and a Decade of Service

Pros: Great ride, quiet, comfortable. Effortless handling, reliable.
Cons: Electronic display could have problems.
I purchased a 1994 Lexus LS400 with 102,000 miles and have had it for three years now. It currently is at 123,700 and has performed great for me. I have not had no mechanical problems with it at all. The engine and drive train are reliable and quiet after ten years of service.
On the downside, the only problem I encountered is a known problem involving the electrical instrument display. After a while, the electronic instrument cluster flickers in cool weather and will ultimately not display at all. There is a service that advertises the fix for this problem on E-Bay. Also, with a vehicle this loaded with electrical switches and features, be sure to check that all the switches and motors that control those features are functioning.
