I tried out three other all in one printers before getting this one. It scans,copies and prints. It is a smaller unit so you don't need to much space for it. And the pictures I have scanned and printed come out great. The software has a neat option where you can print several pictures at once in different sizes on one sheet of paper. Plus you only need one cartridge, it does both black and color. So buying ink is pretty cheap. I think it is around $20 for the ink. So if you are wanting a good all in one printer this is the one. I also got a cordless phone with it and a calling card. I have seen it other places cheaper now, so maybe that is why mine may have cost a little more. But I needed another phone anyway. :)
