Excellent Juicer!

Pros: Very smooth running and produces high quality, pulp free, foam free, juice.

Cons: Cleaning is a little time consuming but no more than other juicers I would suppose.

This is an excellent juicer for the serious juicer or novice. You can't beat it's quality and performance for the price!

I recently became interested in the benefits of juicing for a healthy lifestyle and decided to purchase a juicer. After lots of researching and reading I narrowed it down to three. The Omega 1000, the Acme 6001 and LeQuip 221. The Omega and the Acme are not pulp ejector juicers. I purchased my juicer from ebay because I couldn't afford to pay a lot but I wanted a good quality juicer. Frankly, I ended up with this juicer because I couldn't win a bid on any listed above. However, it must have been for a reason because this is a powerful juicer.
It's design is very appealing and it powers through everything I throw at it. It runs very smooth and is not very loud. It will get off balance and vibrate a little if a piece of vegetable gets caught on the blade. But all you have to do is keep juicing and it will level off. This is my first juicer so I have nothing to compare it to but the pulp from this juicer is very dry. You can sqeeze it very hard and get maybe one drop out and thats all. Not a streaming drop but one tiny little drop. There is also no foam. I read that with some juicers there is a lot of foam from oxidation. Not so with this juicer. There is really nothing I hate about this juicer. If anything I would suggest lining the pulp tray with a plastic produce bag. This makes clean-up very easy because otherwise its difficult to get a brush down into the tray. I just can't say enough good things about this juicer. Try it! Buy it! I paid $31.95 plus the cost of shipping for a brand new one on ebay! They still have them at this price. The company backs up this juicer with a 6 year warranty.
