I bought this Krups Caffe Duomo Expresso Machine and Coffee Maker combination 10 years ago. It was my second Krups coffee and espresso maker. I had one earlier in Europe on 220 volts and needed a 110 volt version for the U.S. I love the one I had so much that I bought the 110 version without hesitation. I use the coffee maker once in a while - perhaps twice a month. But I use the espresso maker 3-5 times a week and it never fails. All the parts are the original, the glass coffee beaker, milk beaker, frothing arm (even the rubble nib and metal tube are the original parts). The only maintenance I have done is an occasional cleaning with vinegar water to clean out the calcium deposits from tap water. The coffee filters are easy to fit - I use various brands, what ever is on sale. The cone slides out easily for loading the coffee and for cleaning. The pressure of the frother is enhanced with Krups' proprietary rubber nib and metal tube for the end of the frother. So if you want legitimate cappacino, with froth that is stiff, this is the machine for you.
