Pros: Sharp images, easy to use, MANUAL FOCUS, 12X Zoom with Stabilization, uses AA batteries
Cons: Uses 4 AA batteries vs 2 AA, purchase a 15 minute battery charger.
I purchased the Konica Minolta for my wife who wanted a camera she could pick up, manual focus if necessary, zoom, (have 10X plus optical, 3X zoom just isn't acceptable) and click to produce sharp, properly exposed images. This camera excels at all. 1. Easy to handle, ergonomic. 2. Able to focus manually. 3. Zoom with stabilization meets / exceeds expectations. 4. Images are sharp and exposed properly using the auto setting (which most people use).
