A tough, reliable, and versatile camera especially when you learn to use most of its capabilities. It has good balance and feels comfortable while working. I have had this camera for three years and while working as a home inspector for insurance companies; at times taking hundreds of shots per day and going through a couple of sets of batteries in the process.

Shooting in all conditions including working in a mangrove swamp in Florida in the summer when the lense would fog over while making a short video and trying to navigate to shooting from inside the truck with the window down in pouring rain the camera never failed or showed any signs of moisture inside.

If anything went wrong it was because I wasn't paying attention the batteries or I loaded the memory and I have a 1 gig memory card when I should have had 2 gigs. It has been bumped around, dropped, and has sat in the truck on hot, humid days and to this day still works great.

Now that I no longer work the camera hard, it should last a very long time. It has been a good investment and I have gotten more value than the price paid for this camera. Too bad I can't upload some of the swamp shots!

It has paid for itself wonderfully.
