Kodak ESP.5
...this printer has some issues which makes me uneasy about the justification of it's price that I paid at Best Buy which was 169 out the door. First, it's a rather loud machine compared to others like the HP's and the Cannons. Second, the print quality you'd expect to see, especially after reading all the ads and trumped up and bloated reviews, is far less than spectacular. Third, and finally, the WiFi feature is a joke. After running late on a couple of occasions and thinking, "well all I've got to do now is get dressed and simply print out my resume" I've been severely disappointed and let down by it's lack of continuity and consistency to acquire and keep the IP address it was issued by my router. It will not stay on the network even with it being on 24/7 it looses it's IP designation and therefor becomes unusable to the users on the network. This has become a major problem within this user network as we have no backup printer and it get pretty damn embarrassing when you have to explain that your nice, Kodak WiFi printer refuses to function like it is supposed to! I will be returning this printer to point of purchase and who knows where I'll go from there.
WOW?? I'd like to think so, but...

Pros: easy set-up, low cost of replacement cartridges, Kodak Name and history
Cons: Inability to retain it's IP address, mediocre print quality, very loud operation, poor performance
The Bottom Line:
Inconsistency in retaining it's assigned IP address and therefore it's not reliable at all.
