Now the quality of medium format with the flexibility of 35 mm is available to photographers with CANON EF lenses. The 14-megapixel KODAK PROFESSIONAL DCS Pro SLR/c Digital Camera, like its cousin the DCS Pro SLR/n, has the highest resolution and widest ISO range of any digital SLR on the market. The DCS Pro SLR/c Digital Camera utilizes a 4536 x 3024-pixel, 12-bit CMOS imager that covers the full 24mm-by-36mm image area of 35mm, so photographers gain the benefits of true wide-angle lenses. This sensor uses advanced High Performance-Low Noise (HPLN) technology, which enables increased sensitivity and reduced noise levels to drive much broader ISO performance. The cameras variable-resolution function enables photographers to choose the image size that best suits their specific workflow-14MP, 6MP, 3MP or even 0.8MP JPEG-only files. The camera boasts a flash sync of 1/180th of a second with a Focal Plane (FP) flash mode up to 1/6000th of a second when using an EX-series Speedlite, and an overall shutter speed ra

PIECE OF CRAP

Pros: Great resolution. It's heavy enough to make a nice paperweight!
Cons: Oh, boy... where do I start?
The Bottom Line:
Worst piece of equiptment I've ever owned!
I bought one of these one year ago and it has been the most frustrating piece of crap I have ever had the displeasure of owning. I'm selling it on ebay right now if anyone is interested. If you're looking for a camera that takes fantastic quality pictures under ideal circumstances but crashes and burns the other 99% of the time then this is the camera for you.Only looks good at 160 iso. Even 400 is unusable. Even 160 has noisy blacks, especially at slow shutter speeds. Takes 20 seconds to see the picture on the lcd display after you shoot it. It is the most stupidly awkwardly layed out piece of crap I've ever used. Every important button is put precicely where it is the most difficult to reach, unless it's a button you don't want to press,in which case it is placed right where you press it every time you pick up the camera. Every 10 minutes or so it either completely jams, or it goes into some stupid mode that you can't get out of, or it just locks up completely, In any of these cases you have to pull out the battery and put it back in. The autofocus takes approximately 40 seconds to focus on something like a house that doesn't move. I could go on and on all day. Put it this way. A couple of days ago I bowwowed a friends canon 20D ($1300 camera) I felt like I've been driving a bus for a year, and I just got behind the wheel of a ferrari. The Canon felt SO NICE!
