With a 525-watt motor to handle bread doughs and thick cookie batters, this is KitchenAid's most powerful stand mixer, a professional-grade appliance with a heavy, rugged, all-metal construction (31.7 pounds) which prevents "counter walk" on the mixer's rubber feet. It has a 6-quart, polished stainless-steel bowl with an ergonomic handle and a two-piece pouring shield made of heavyweight plastic to provide a large chute for adding ingredients. Accompanying the mixer are a burnished flat beater, a burnished dough hook, and a big wire whip. On the front of the powerhead is a hinged cover for the hub to which KitchenAid's many mixer accessories attach.

Pros: powerful, lots of atatchments and looks great

i would recomend buying an extra bowl this will allow you to cook two things and clean up while its cooking and not in the middle
this peice of kitchen aquipment is great it can replace almost every appliance in your kitchen they offer it any many different colors and models so it can go with any cooks level of need and also any color kitchen this isny one of those appliances that you hide in a cabinet except when you need it. this is a conversation piece it says a lot about you when one of thesse is in your kitchen people look at it and think hey this person realy cares about cooking. the many options allow you to not have to get out many different appliances to make one meal it mixes whips and kneads do those are just the things you can do wiht the attatchments that come wiht it they also offer dozens of others like a pasta roller,pasta maker, grinder, slicer juicer, sausage maker grain mill can opener and many more if you just starting out in a new home or apartment and money might not be flowing hand over fist this may seem pricy but think if you buy this mixer along wiht the atachments that you would need to fit your regular needs you would eliminate a handful or more of other expensive and space consumeing appliances this is also a machine that is built to last are there any other products that could offer such a wide range of kitchen help ? thats why i like this mixer so much
