King of Fighters Dream Match 1999 arrives on the Dreamcast packed with lots of cool features and is complemented by engaging play. Right from the start of the game you have access to 38 playable characters. This total goes up to a whopping 51 when you include all of the different costume variations. And since the KOF DM99 roster consists of characters from all over the SNK universe, each combatant has a unique fighting style and appearance.

Pros: Excellent graphics, Perfect Techniques, and Dynamic Soundtrack
Cons: What Cons? This game is Perfection!
King of Fighters Dream Match 1999 is by far the best 2D fighting game for the Sega Dreamcast. This game is at the top of it's class with excellent graphics, and fighting prowess not seen since the early 90s on SNK's Neo Geo arcade machine.
I love the way the opening story plays out like a Japanese anime. At no time did I see any slow done or distorted images as the characters battled each other across my screen. This really shows what a powerful system the Dreamcast really is.
Just playing this game brought back a lot of memories of me at 18 in the arcades duking it out with my buddies on SNK's arcade systems.
Also, the background music rocks. This really made me want to play for an extended period of time.
This game is a must have for all fighting fans and it's a true measure of fighting made perfect.
