A great game but not SNK's finest

Pros: Graphics are old school, control is good considering the controller for dc, game play is great. A classic.
Cons: Some people new to the SNK games might find it disappointing. The ending wasn't much.
King of Fighters 99 Dream Match made a great port from the Neo Geo systems to the Dreamcast. This is a great game for all King of Fighters/SNK fans. If you are new to SNK fighting games this will make a good first impression of a SNK fighting game, or it will make you disappointed. There are cons to this game, though. Read my review to find out.
**Control** King of Fighters 99 Dream Match feels akward with the Sega Dreamcast controller. Although, you will get used to it pretty quick and won't become a hassle. Even though the Dreamcast controller is akward, it will not let you use the analog. This is a good thing because the fighter's moves are a lot easier to pull off. If you did not know, King of Fighters 99 Dream Match is almost exact to Street Fighter Alpha 3's or any of the Street Fighters. So if you went to a Street Fighter game to King of Fighters 99 Dream Match, you will not have to spend hours in training trying to figure controls out. Control could be better but overall it is pretty good.
**Visuals** The intro of King of Fighters 99 Dream Match is awesome, not only that but great anime graphics, but from there on they aren't as expected. Not like the intro. Street Fighter Alpha 3's graphics blow King of Fighters 99's away. If you look closely though, you will see they are classic style graphics and you will begin to love them. Graphics you will begin to love and overall they are great.
**Sound** The sound of King of Fighters 99 Dream Match is average. The voice of the announcer is a japaneese girl and gets annoying. That's what its like with pretty much everything. The music is jumpy, it gets me going for the fight. I like the music and a lot of people probably should.
The sound of King of Fighters 99 Dream Match is average but it could've been a lot worse, like the announcer but the background music is pretty good.
**Game Play** King of Fighters 99 Dream Match is superb. It will keep you playing for a month or more and you will find yourself going back for more. The ending is a little disappointing, but I'm in this for the game play. Multiplayer is a blast play as your favorite SNK fighter against a friend! Multiplayer is great! Overall this is a good game but not SNK's finest.
**Bottom Line**
Overall King of Fighters 99 Dream Match is a game people love or will be extremely disappointed. You will learn to appreciate this game and love it. This game is a classic for SNK fans. I love this game so I will give it 5 stars, I saw through this game and loved it. For people new to SNK games, don't get your hopes up too high.
