Best for the money, can not be beat...
This is for the Degen 1103/ Kaito 1103.
These are the same radios. The Degen
can be bought off ebay for about $20
cheaper than the Kaito.
Paid $45+shipping for a total of$65
from tquchina on ebay.
Build quality is excellent, having a
durable feel. It operates off 4 AA

Basically the radio is probably one of the best
values for the money. Is has excellent receive
across all bands. It has continuous coverage
with tuning 1khz at a time. The scan works ok,
frequently skipping stations that can be heard.
