Pros: Low initial cost. Toll free telephone number for customer service and technical help.
Cons: Poor quality, and seemingly lack of quality control.
I bought a KDS Radius RAD-7c in September of 2002 at $489.00. After about nine months of use the picture completely faded leaving only a white blank screen. KDS replaced the monitor at no charge to me and I subsequently had two additional replacements as the colors were washed out and pale on the monitors they sent as a replacement for the original. The third unit lasted only six months before fading out, and KDS told me I was subject to repair charges of $35.00 minimum to $250.00 maximum plus one way shipping. Read the 3 year warranty carefully. I have replaced this monitor with another brand.
It is very expensive to use a product which gives so many
problems. I would not recommend this brand to anyone.
