The Bottom Line:
Do not waste your money. This is a poorly designed product, and a poorly made product.
I was very excited when I first received this drive. After about 10 minutes, I realized this was designed very poorly...even the choice of materials were inferior. First off the Cap...It is essentially held in place by friction, with a small lip to ensure that it holds for the first 10 times you remove the cap. The tabs that cause this friction are not resistant to wear, and these fail to hold the cap on. So it falls off, regularly, and the do not provide any replacement caps. If you want to put the cap on the other end while you use it, it renders the loop used to attach a neck strap mute. The tolerance will not allow for the use of both a neck strap and placing the cap on the other end while in use. Bottom line, you are going to loose the cap.
The plastic that was used is VERY BRITTLE, and mine actually fractured around the USB plug. A very poor choice of materials.
I returned mine, expecting them to send me a revision 2 of this poorly engineer item. That didn't happen, they essentially pulled off the piece of plastic that fractured, and returned it to me with a newer cap, and no explanation. After 10 times, the cap started falling off again.
Do not buy this product; you will regret it, with a passion.
