I have a Jenn-Air blender and a Jenn-Air stand mixer already and love both of them.My Aunt Sue saw the toaster at a local kitchen store on clearance and knew how much I loved my other Jenn-Air items and picked it up for me. She sent it to me as a special gift to add to my modern looking kitchen.

The Jenn-Air Toaster has a very unique shape to it. It is taller in the back and slants down to a shorter front. My Aunt purchased the stainless steel for me,but this also comes in antique copper, oiled bronze, pearlescent white, and pearlescent black. Originally this toaster cost $170, but my Aunt bought it for $40. The toaster stands 9.82 in. at its tallest point and slants down to 6 1/2 inches at its shortest point at the front. The toaster is 6.53 inches across with each slot being a little over 2 1/4 inches a piece. On the front of the toaster on top where it is slanted is a touch wheel that has seven numbers. You select which number of shading/color you want and push it. There are also three function modes that you can choose from: Toast, Bagel, and Defrost. Once you have selected the shading and mode you want all do is push the button. There is a pull down lever on the very front that lets you control the toasting process.

The toasters accent base is stainless steel, but designer glass accent bases are also available in cobalt blue, merlot red, aqua beach, amber tortoise, dolce "multi-colored", and clear-etched pattern.

-What I like about the toaster-
I must say that I absolutely love the design of this toaster. This can hold from a thin piece of bread all the way up to bagels and the slant of the toaster makes it easy for me to see if the bread is getting to dark or not. I use this to defrost and then toast bagels for my daughters breakfast. The toaster does not take up much room on the counter and like with my other Jenn-Air appliances the cords are removable and can be stored when not in use so that they are not all tangled and the counters are not cluttered. I get perfect toast, bread, etc. every time.

I really do not have any dislikes when it comes to this toaster. I do wish that the stainless steel did not attract finger prints and grime though. I have to clean it more often than some of my other appliances. The crumb tray is easy to clean so I am not worrying about a fire getting started from crumbs.

I must say that I really love my newest kitchen appliance thanks to my aunt. It is not only sleek looking it is practical and gets used daily. My aunt has great timing since my toaster oven of six years finally gave out a few months ago and I had not replaced it. I had been putting bagels in the oven for my daughter and more often than not got them overly brown. This is one of the only small appliances that Jenn-Air still makes and I highly recommend it for function and style.
