The Bottom Line:
Over all a great truck... shame to see it succeeded by the 'less tough looking' Liberty. Just glad I got a new one while you still can
The Cherokee is a fantastic vehicle! The on the fly 4WD switch is very smooth. In black with running boards and tinted glass it looks tough and menacing. Although the interior is smaller than other SUVs on the market the Limited with leather is competently luxurious. While the factory installed sound system is average, if you really wanted a good sound system you would not have chosen the one supplied by Jeep and had an after market one installed.
The ride is a fairly rough one and noisy at high revs, but after all this is a proper off roader not a pavement restricted truck. There are rattles when driving, but these are more likely due to the subwoofers in the trunk than the truck itself.
