Good camera

Pros: Small ,VERY light weight, Digital , Inexpensive , Lots of connection options
Cons: High Lux , No memory stick for still photos
The Bottom Line:
Good camera , Fun to use , easy to use , Lots of features. This camera CAN take good photo's, Photo's on tape.
This camera takes great video. I use the firewire port to edit and create my movies. This camera allows editing just like the pro's with additional software. For those people who do not have a firewire port, JVC provides a serial interface so you can retrieve pictures. The controls only after a few uses, we found are very well placed. I have a large hand and my wife has a small one. Most camcorers will not work for both of us this one does. This camcorder has a lot of features and effects. I tried them all out and they are very fun to use . JVC made it possible to move between the features with just one button. The camera is fun and takes good still photo's too but you need to set the shutter speed to 1/500 to eliminate bluring caused by motion and have VERY good lighting. If you want this camera for High resolution Still photos, buy a still photo camera they come with a higher resolution CCD. This camera takes stills and puts them on the tape you are using. it does not use a memory stick .
I looked at a lot of camera's and this camera gave the best bang for the buck. Higher priced camera's didnt offer much more until you spent about $2000
