Retribution is set early into the 24th century man was on the verge of extinction. Before stellar colonization, war loomed close on Earth as its people cried out in their millions for food. Then, we were visited; the Krellans came to our aid like avatars from the far reaches of space to teach us their way to live with ourselves in union. With them, the Krellans brought a new wave of technology, unprecedented medicine, and best of all, the wisdom of peace. Farming and agricultural needs were met and bettered with their help in our colonization plans. No more would man starve or fight for an acre of corn. Our newfound friends slowly led us away from Earth and taught us the ways to perfect terra-forming techniques to solve our ever-constant population and resource needs. Since the Krellans first made contact with man, many new worlds have echoed to the sound of man's footfall and we now stand at the threshold of the entire galaxy. In this, man's new hour we live as man was intended...peacefully. The year is 2425 Minimize

Starcraft? I love that game!

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Amazing unit balance and graphics!

Cons: Sounds and Music may be good, but it becomes annoying.

The Bottom Line:
Starcraft is a game that I have been hooked on for five years!

Author's Review
When I first bought starcraft it was because my friend said it was the greatest,. t he coolest, and all that other garbage. But, I play because I know it is the greatest, the coolest and all that other garbage! lol. Anyway, I've been a loyal subject of starcraft for 5 years and was only interupted for a year because I broke my starcraft cd in half (long story)! The story line is that an epic battle is roaring on between three races: The zerg who are these buglike creatures that either spit acid or attack with strong claws, the protoss who are the most advanced race with sheilds that worship a god called x'nagel, and there is the terren or the humans, who are, in my opinion, the best. They have tanks that can "transform" ito a seige tank which can not move and cannot shoot close range and cannot attack air. The reason why they are so good is that they do 70 damage without upgrades plus splash damage (Splash damage-damage that hits adjacent units near the targeted unit). Another reason why I like terran is becouse of their air units. Their wraiths are able to cloak or hide from your opponents veiw. Plus they do 9 damage to the ground not upgraded and do 21 damage to the air not upgraded.

Now, I would recomend playing single player A LOT before you play multiplayer because most of the people playing are very experianced and you will lose easily. Another thig to watch out for are games called "newbies only" because the game creator is probobly a very very experianced player and just wants easy kills. Plus there is a new feature. It is use map settings games. In this you can do things that you can't regularly do such as have carriers carry wraiths instead of intercepters ect. I love starcraft and I hope you will too.
