His personal life tops his professional life in terms of desperation when his wife and best friend run off together. Bill gets some needed relief when his sister sets him up on a blind date with a woman she has chatted up. Bill is surprised upon meeting his date, an old college friend (Ally Sheedy). He is more surprised to discover that the two of them could not be more mismatched. Bill rejects his old friend who didn't have quite the same experience and promptly stalks Bill. Excellent and Highly Recommended

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Funny, poignant, and original

Cons: Nobody recognizable in it except Ally Sheedy

Bottom Line:
Must see independent movie, non-pretentious, charming- with some very original touches. I spent much of my time watching it just smiling. Never heard of it when I rented it. Read More at Epinions.com

I'll Take You There - thanks, I'm staying.

Author's Rating: Rating: 2/5 stars

Pros: Relatively leveled section of the film when visiting grandmother's house

Cons: Rest of film is stilted, unbelievable and badly thought-out

Bottom Line:
I'll Take You There is like the Breakfast Club's Ally Sheedy character grown up and gone over the edge. Did it warrant a film? No. Read More at Epinions.com
