Pros: suction, price, ease, retractable cord
Cons: I did not buy it sooner!
I just got rid of our Oreck. It really was a waste of money. We have carpeting with high shag and needed height adjustment and real suction power. I was going to buy a dyson, until I read some review on this Hoover. I was a bit apprehensive since It is so cheap,,, but got it anyway. I love it! I really does an excellent job. Handles great, not too heavy, comes with an attachable roll brush... very handy. I also love the fact that it is bagless. Amazing to see what sits on your carpet... yuck! I highly recommend this vacuum clear. Oreck has nothing over this economical worker!
