The Hoover Widepath Foldaway vacuum is the best vacuum I have ever bought, regardless of price. I have used it for six years and have not had anything break or experienced any diminishment of suction.
I make it a practice of emptying the cup everytime I use it and occacionally vacuum the filter with my shop vac.
