Consumers just love their Odyssey vans. The vehicle is comfortable, versatile, reliable, durable, and every other "able" you can think of. The Odyssey has stayed on top of nearly every consumer magazine and best of list since its' redesign in 1999. With competitors trying to keep up with the Odyssey by redesigning their vehicles, you can be sure that the 2005 model will send them back to their drawing boards once again.

Pros: Too many to list here.
Cons: No coin holder :-(
The Bottom Line:
This is the best in it's class
This van replaced our 2002 Honda Odyssey.
There was nothing wrong with our 2002, for my wife's birthday I decided to upgrade her ride.
We love the 2005 Odyssey so much that now my car stays in the driveway all weekend long, the kids love the DVD (RES) system, now my wife and I barely hear them bickering in the back seat.
The ride is super smooth, the engine noise is very low, turns can be taken with confidence.
The (RES) model is a must here's a short list of the things we really love about this model:
- Leather Interior
- Honda DVD Rear Entertainment System
- Wireless Headphones and Wireless Remote
- 24-Valve i-VTEC motor
- Variable Cylinder Management
- Power Moonroof
- Cruise Control, Steering Wheel-Mounted Controls
- In-Floor Storage
- Integrated 2nd Row Sunshades
- Rear Heater Ducts 2nd and 3rd Rows
- Heated Front Seats
- Dual Sliding Doors with power windows
- Nicer dash design in 2005
- Standard Michelin tires are great
- Instrumentation, outside Temperature, oil quality, Door-Tailgate-Open Indicator Light...etc
- 6 Disc In-Dash CD Changer
- Steering Wheel Mounted Audio Controls
- Stowable 2nd Row PlusOne Seat
- And many more....
Like I said our other car is used much less now, and my wife and I sometimes have to draw straws to decide who's driving.
We love this years model with all the improvements, if we had the extra cash we would surely get the Touring model with all the extra stuff.
Take one out for a drive, you'll fall in love.
P.S. We've tried other family vans and they all fail to come close in many aspects, specially in the comfort department.
- Mazda
- Nissan
The worst we've tried:
- Ford
