Honda 2002 CR-V: An SUV for People Who Don't Like SUVs

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: room, economy, comfort, build quality, amenities, safety

Cons: road noise, power, bland handling

Bottom Line:
For a guy who sneers at those super-tankers out there on the road, I sure like my new mini-SUV (even though it's really a glorified station wagon)! Read More at Epinions.com

Designed for how people actually use SUVs

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Utility, comfort, fuel economy, refinement, nimble handling, quieter than competition

Cons: Just adequate power, bland styling

Bottom Line:
Nothing racy or luxurious, but about as sensible as an SUV gets. If "functional competence" is your thing, you'll love the new CR-V. Read More at Epinions.com

Pros: Cargo/storage features, Backseats fold flat, Peppy, Minimal upkeep, Sound system, Leg/head room

I recommend this for anyone looking for a reliable used car that can transport small loads, small family or dogs and I only sold it to buy the discontinued Element.

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: V6 smoothness and power from a four cylinder, great handling and steering, well designed interior

It figures that Honda would be then one company that builds an SUV that even I would consider buying. Try it, you'll like it! Read More at Epinions.com

2002 Saturn VUE versus 2002 Honda CR-V

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: CR-V or VUE, two good choices for buyers.

Cons: That darn wheel hanging on the rear door.

An improvement over an already great SUV.

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Great value, generous interior and cargo space, solid brake system, legendary Honda quality.

Cons: Limited passenger leg/foot room.

Bottom Line:
If you're looking for a great city ride, that will handle well in severe weather conditions, this is the SUV to get. Offroaders look elsewhere. Read More at Epinions.com

CR-V is simply the best in it's class

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Rear legroom, cargo space, reclining rear seats, radio/CD changer, low engine noise, small turning radius.

Cons: Front leg/foot room, front seat armrests, road noise on rough roads, dull handling

Bottom Line:
Do your price/options research before you go for the CR-V test drive since you probably will buy one. Read More at Epinions.com
