1999 Prelude

The Honda Prelude is available in two models for this year - the Base and the Type SH. Standard features include cruise control, a power moonroof and power windows, mirrors and door locks. The Prelude receives a boost in power from the 2.2-liter VTEC engine, which now produces 200-hp with the manual transmission and 195-hp with the 4-speed automatic. New standard features include the keyless entry system and the micron interior air filtration system. The Type SH is equipped with the Active Torque Transfer System (ATTS) which reduces understeer by adjusting power to the front wheels during cornering.
